The 3Cs of Balance:
Community, Career and Caring
july 10, 2020 | 9am - noon CST
Using the in-person workshop as its foundation, the 3Cs of Balance: Community, Career and Caring is also offered virtually. This workshop is designed around the ambitious young professional who can’t wait to be at the top of their game. But it’s not just their career they are concerned about – they want to be able to care for others, their community and themselves at the same time. Many individuals struggle to find balance, especially early in their career, instead of finding practical ways to achieve all of their goals. Today’s constantly changing and uncertain circumstances make this all the more true.
The three Cs – community, career and caring (for yourself and others) – are touchpoints for each aspect of life that help support mindful decisions for years to come. In this virtual workshop, participants will learn:
How to integrate community involvement with commitments at home or work
How to create space for self-care and caring for others
How to recalibrate when one or more of the Cs is off balance

“This program helped me make a specific plan on how I can spend more time with my family, get engaged in my community, and keep on track at work. I am surprised at how simple it was when I just made the time to think it through. Heather and the group made it easy and fun, and I feel eager to get started contributing more.”
