The 3Cs of Balance:
Community, Career and Caring
Each workshop benefits a different Austin, Texas area non-profit organization. Past recipients of proceeds include the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce and the Austin Area Chapter of Fundraising Professionals. If your cause would like to discuss a benefit workshop, contact Heather.
Using the in-person workshop as its foundation, the 3Cs of Balance: Community, Career and Caring is also offered virtually. This workshop is designed around the professional who can’t wait to be at the top of their game. But it’s not just their career they are concerned about – they want to be able to care for others, their community and themselves at the same time. Many individuals struggle to find balance, especially early in their career, instead of finding practical ways to achieve all of their goals. Today’s constantly changing and uncertain circumstances make this all the more true.
The three Cs – community, career and caring (for yourself and others) – are touchpoints for each aspect of life that help support mindful decisions for years to come. In this virtual workshop, participants will learn:
How to integrate community involvement with commitments at home or work
How to create space for self-care and caring for others
How to recalibrate when one or more of the Cs is off balance
We will spend our time learning tangible new tools, learning from others with deep life experience, and creating specific “experiments” to conduct to test and measure lasting change. The workshop is for people from all walks of life who are ready to take “it” to the next level, without burning out along the way.
